ACCOMODATIONS
LODGING
We at Surf Expeditions have upgraded our location for the 2024 season a two-story surf compound on the coastline of Playa Abierta in the Port and City of Salina Cruz.
Conveniently located 20 min from two of the longest and most consistent premier point breaks in the region. In front of the Villa, there is a hollow beach break and to the next corner a wedge, perfectly for bodyboarding or skimboarding when the north wind is blowing.
Surf Expeditions lodging consists of four private bedrooms: Three bedrooms have two double beds, the forth bedroom has three doubke beds as well a balcony.
Each room comes with A / C, Wifi, comfortable double size mattresses, lockers for each guest. The four rooms have it's own private bathroom.
The camp can accommodate up to 11 guests total, consisting of 1-3 crews. The whole camp can be rented out longterm as a corporate offsite or for private groups.
Our open-air living room and dining room is where we eat delicious meals, watch movies, surfing videos & plan our next surf missions.
THE FOOD
If you happen to truly enjoy Mexican cuisine, you have arrived at the right place. Your stay at Surf Expeditions
includes three generous meals per day: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
For breakfast we offer locally grown fresh fruits, smoothies, egg dishes, toast, coffee and cereal.
For Lunch and Dinner some of our favorite dishes we serve are Flautas, Rellenos, Tlayudas, Tostadas, Chilaquiles, and Enchiladas
Vegetarian meals are readily available. There is a wonderful assortment of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables on hand for even the most discerning palate. Please let us know about any specific dietary requests in advance and we will do our best to give you complete culinary satisfaction.
All food items are carefully prepared and washed with the utmost contemporary care in order to make the dining experience as safe as possible.
So, dig in, have a second helping, and, thoroughly enjoy the food!
TRANSPORTATION
Surf Expeditions operates three safe and well maintained Air Conditioned 4x4 Trucks: Lobo F150, Dodge Durango and one Suburban, each comfortably seating up to 4 guests and their surf gear.
We pride ourselves on our safe highway and off road driving skills.
We load our vehicles with beach chairs, coolers and shaded canopies each day to make marathon sessions in the hot sun as comfortable as possible.
For an additional cost we can charter a skiff up the coastline to point breaks only accessible by boat.
From the highway, through the muddy roads, across the deep soft sand and motoring by sea... we have the transportation, drivers and surf guides to get you to the best surf.
